I've got to go out and buy a copy of the latest Maxim magazine to serve as an educational purpose to this course!
I'm excited to be involved with a course related to the most persuasive aspect of American capatilism - marketing. I've seen vast changes since the 80's, and my personal opinion is that sex and violence in advertising and film alike are attributing to the breakdown of morality in our culture. Not to mention about countless other things. I'll leave it at that for now.
